Biography
Glasgow Girl. Lily Blatherwick was born in London. Moved to Scotland with her family in 1865. Founder member of RSW. Married to the artist Archibald Hartrick. In 1906 returned back to London, where Hartrick took up teaching at the Camberwell School of Art. Exhibited in the Paris Salon in 1912, then at Senefelder Club in 1923. Elected RSW 1878, ASWA 1886, SW 1898. Regularly exhibited at RSW, RA, RSA, RBA and Glasgow Institute.
