Trevor Chamberlain was born in Hertford. Self taught artist.Worked until 1964 as an architectural assistant, then painted full time. Elected member of NS in 1968, RSMA in 1970 and ROI in 1972. Member of Chelsea Art Society and Wapping Group of Artists. Among awards won were Lord Mayor of London's Art Award in 1976, James Bourlet Prize at ROI in 1980. Solo shows included Ash Barn Gallery Petersfield 1971-1983. Guildhall Art Gallery and National Maritime Museum, Greenwich hold examples of his work; other public art galleries and works can be seen illustrated on Art UK).
