Biography
Roy Turner Durrant was born in Lavenham, Suffolk. Attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in 1948-52. Showed his work with Free Painters and Sculptors, with NEAC and RA. After a solo show at Guildhall, Lavenham in 1948, he showed regularly at Loggia Gallery, Gallery of British Art in Lausanne and Belgrave Gallery in 1991. His work is represented in several public collections including Imperial War Museum, Bradford City Art Gallery, St Edmunsbury Museum, Gloucester Museum, Williamson Art Gallery and Balliol College in Oxford.
