Philip Naviasky 1894 - 1983

Philip Naviasky was born in Leeds of Polish extraction. Studied at Leeds School of Art. Accepted to Royal Academy Schools at the age of 18. Gained a Royal Exhibition award from Board of Education for three years at Royal College of Art. Painted in Yorkshire as well as in Spain, the south of France and Morocco. Showed at RA, RP, RSA and had a series of solo shows. Galleries in Leeds, Newcastle, Preston and Stoke-on-Trent hold his work (see Art UK).
