Karl Hagedorn 1889 - 1969

Karl Hagedorn was born in Berlin. Hagedorn settled in England in 1905. Studied at the Manchester School of Art, the Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris in 1912-13. Showed in Paris and was a member of Salon d'Automne. Also exhibited at Fine Art Society, NEAC and elsewhere. In 1994 Whitworth Art Society in Manchester held retrospective exhition. British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and Manchester City Art Gallery hold his work. (see Art UK).
