Biography
Jacqueline Williams was born in Lincoln. Studied at the Gloucester College of Art in 1982-85, then at Royal Academy Schools, where she was an outstanding student in 1985-88. Gained the Anque Collector's Prize in 1987, de Segonzac Travel Scholarship in 1988, The Elizabeth Greenshields Award in 1988 and 1992, the W H Patterson Award in 1993. Took part in many mixed shows including London South Bank Picture Show in 1986. Held her first solo exhibitions at the New Grafton Gallery after graduation in 1989. Elected NEAC 1993. Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society and CASW hold her work.
