Jacob Kramer 1892 - 1962

Jacob Kramer was born in Klincy, Ukraine. Kramer settled in England, in Leeds in 1900. Attended at Manchester School of Art and studied at the School of Art in Leeds in 1908-11 and Slade School of Fine Arts in 1913-14. In 1915 Kramer held his first solo exhibition at Matthews & Brooke, Bradford. In 1960 retrospective exhibition at Leeds City Art Gallery. Later shows included Parkin Gallery in 1973, Belgrave Gallery in 1990 and centenary show at Leeds University Art Gallery.
