Biography
George Graham was born in Leeds, Yorkshire. Studied in Leeds and London under various teachers. Member of ROI, RI and RSW and was a leading figure in the Yorkshire Artists and Society of Sussex Painters. Showed at the Fine Art Society, Royal Academy from 1916, New English Arts Club from 1938. Elected RBA 1948. Public galleries in Norfolk, Sunderland, University of Hull, Museum of Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and Worthing hold examples of his work. Lived in Winchelsea, Sussex.
