Doris Vaughan 1894-1975

A friend of Christopher Wood. Married to the artist Colin Sealy, together they acquired a studio in St Ives, Cornwall in 1927. During the 1930's Vaughan showed at Wertheim Gallery with a series of solo exhibitions in 1934, 1937, 1939. Retrospective exhibition in 1976 at Gallery 10 in Richmond and a joint show of Vaughan's and Sealy's in 1977 in Belgrave Gallery.
