Colin Hayes RA 1919 - 2003

Born in London. Studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford. Showed at Royal Academy Summer exhibitions, Agnew's, New Grafton Gallery, Fieldbourne Galleries and in the provinces. Became President of RBA and elected RA in 1970. New Grafton Gallery held a retrospective exhibition in 1986. Arts Council, British Council and a number of public collections hold his work (see Art Uk).
