Cavendish Morton 1911-2015

Painter, designer, illustrator, teacher and printmaker, born in Edinburgh. Son of the artist Cavendish Morton and twin brother of the artist Concord Morton. President of the King's Lynn Norfolk Contemporary and Suffolk Art Societies, Chairman of the Gainsborough House Society and Norwich Twenty Group. Morton exhibited at the Royal Academy, provinces and abroad. Held solo exhibitions at Chappel Galleries. British Museum, Contemporary Art Society and provincial galleries hold examples of his work (see Art UK)
