Biography
Alfred Daniels was born in London. Studied at Woolwich Polytechnic in 1943-44, then at Royal College of Art in 1947-50. Daniels showed widely in mixed shows from the early 1950's.
He became a member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1973 and of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1983, where he became keeper.
His many solo shows included Zwemmer Gallery from mid 1950's, later ones included Belgrave Gallery in 1989. A number of public art galleries hold examples of his work, including Bradford Museums, Leeds University and Greater London Council.
