Biography
Christopher Brown was born in London. He studied at the Royal College of Art, where he studied illustration and met and later assisted the master of the linocut Edward Bawden.
Chris Brown is an Illustrator Printmaker & Artist, senior lecturer in Graphic Arts at Liverpool School of Art and design and visiting lecturer at in Fashion Menswear at Central St Martins and in MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts.
His clients include the Folio Society, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The New Yorker, The Bay Tree Food Company. His work has been exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy, The Fry Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum and St.Judes Gallery and Michael Parkin Fine Art.
Christopher has written & illustrated An Alphabet of London (Merrell) and is currently working on An Alphabet of England.
He has recently worked on illustrations for the Museum of London for the Fire of London
