Keith Shackleton was born in Weybridge, Surrey.
Served in the Royal Air Force, then had 15 years with the family aviation business as a salesman and pilot, but was always painting in his spare time. Mainly known for his pictures of the sea and seabirds. President of RSMA and SWLA, of which he was a founder member and was chairman of the Artists' League of Great Britain.
His work is represented in a number of public art galleries
