Peter Oliver was born in Jersey. Studied at the Exeter School of Art, then in Liverpool. While a student showed at RBA and at Redfern Gallery, was included in further mixed shows at New Art Centre, Hamet Gallery and City Art Gallery, Salford. Between 1955-63 had five solo shows at Redfern, at Mercury in 1965. Retrospective exhibition in 1994 at Anthony Hepworth Fine Art in Bath.
