| Charles Maresco Pearce was born in London. Studied at Oxford University, then at Chelsea School of Art under Augustus John and William Orpen in 1904, two years later in Paris with Jacques Emile Blanche and with Walter Sickert Exhibited at the Royal Academy and London Group. British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum , Ashmolean and Fitzwilliam Museums hold examples of his work. |
