| Was born in St. Andrews. Educated Glasgow University, trained at Glasgow School of Art under Robert Greenlees. Travelled to Paris where he studied under the landscape artists Damoye and Daubigny. Received honourable mentions at the Paris Salon and Paris International 1889. Lived in Glasgow. Exhibited at The Royal Academy, Royal Scottish Academy and other institutions. His work is represented in Glasgow Art Gallery. |
