Donald Hamilton Fraser.

Born in London. Studied at the St.Martin's School of Art in 1949-52, held his first solo show at Gimpel Fils in 1953. Also studied under a French Government Scholarship in Paris in 1953-54. Showed frequently there and at Paul Rosenburg in New York and elsewhere abroad in mixed exhibitions. Taught at Royal College of Art in 1957-83.Elected RA in 1985. Lived in Henley-on-Thames. Arts Council holds examples of his work. |
