Biography

Vincent Lines was born in Dulwich, London. Studied at the Central School of Art under A. S. Hartrick and Royal College of Art , where he gained a Travelling Scholarship in 1932. Took part in the Pilgrim Trust's Recording Britain project, was principal at Hastings School of Art and wrote several books, including 'Mark Fisher and Margaret Fisher Prout'. Exhibited at the Royal Academy, New English Arts Club, Leicester Galleries and elsewhere. British Council purchased an example of his work.
