George Owen Wynne Apperley was born in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. Studied with the Herkomer School of Bushe. Lived for much of his life in Spain. Exhibited extensively at Leicester and Walker's Galleries, RI, RSA. His work is represented in Victoria & Albert Museum. Is known for his sun-filled landscape of the Mediterranean area.
