Bryan Organ was born in Leicester. Studied at the College of Art in Loughborough and Royal Academy Schools. Taught at Loughborough College in 1959-65. Held his first solo show at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery in 1959; first of a series of exhibitions at Redfern Gallery in 1967. Further solo shows followed in New York, Cologne and Turin. His work is represented in public collections in Britain and abroad.
