Studied under Fred Brown and at the Royal College of Art. It was during his travels in France when he met Sickert. Held his first solo exhibition at the Grafton Gallery in 1911. Primarily painter in watercolours of landscapes and interiors. Memorial show at Leceister Galleries in 1944.
