Biography
Harold Harvey was born in Penzance, Cornwall. Studied painting at the Penzance Art School under Norman Garstin, and attended the Academie Julian in Paris between 1894 and 1896. Exhibited at the Newlyn Gallery and major provincial galleries, and had his first London show in 1913, also at the Royal Academy from 1898-1941 and held several one-man exhibitions in London, at the Mendoza Galleries, Barbizon House and the Leicester Galleries.
