Olga Lehmann was born in Chile. Won a scholarship to Slade School of Fine Art, studying under Allan Gwynne-Jones and Vladimir Polunin. Renowned for her costume designs and was War art director for Rank Advertising which led to work in Holywood. She painted landscapes near her home in Essex in Great Sampford and Saffron Walden. Known for her portraits of thespians such as Dirk Bogarde, Peter Sellers and Ralph Richardson. Her work is represented in the Imperial War Museum, Royal Air Force Museum; Fry Art Gallery.
