| Biography |
| Gerald Kelly was born in London. Educated at Cambridge, then lived and studied art in Paris for several years. Whistler was an early influence. His work is represented in many public collections, including the Tate Gallery. Held retrospective exhibitions at the Leicester Galleries in 1950 and in 1957 in Royal Academy. Elected RA in 1930. Knighted in 1945. |
