Biography
Born in London. Studied at Richmond School of Art , then Putney School of Art and at the Royal Academy Schools in 1926-27 and Paris in the late 1920's under Andre L'Hote. First solo exhibition at Beaux Gallery circa 1935. In 1946 first of many solo exhibitions held at Roland Browse & Delbanco. His work is represented in many collections, including Imperial War Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Arts Council and abroad. Memorial exhibition at Belgrave Gallery in 1977.
