Biography
Blair Hughes-Stanton was born in London. Educated at Colet Court, studied at Byam Shaw School in 1919-22, Royal Academy Schools in 1922-23 and at Leon Underwood's school in 1923-25. Member of LG and SWE. Met Henry Moore at the Royal College of Art in the 1920's, studied together in L.Underwood's classes.
Showed with Redfern, Leicester and Cooling Galleries, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. Contemporary Art Society, Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester and other public art collections hold examples of his work.
