Biography
Rowland Hilder was born in Greatneck, Long Island, USA. After settling in England, studied at the Goldsmith' s College of Art under Edmund Sullivan for three years in the 1920's. Showed at RA, RI, RHA and NEAC. First solo show at the Fine Art Society in 1939. Retrospective exhibition at Woodlands Art Gallery in 1985.
