| William Mervyn Glass was born in Aberdeenshire. Studied at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen and Royal Scottish Academy Life School in Edinburgh, also in Paris and Italy. Won Maclaine-Watters bronze medal and Chalmers Jervise prize. Painted chiefly in Iona and Scottish Highlands. Exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and others. |
