Married to the artist Julian Trevelyan.
Born in Bristol. Studied at Slade School of Fine Art in 1932-36.Member of London Group in 1962-64 and participated in many mixed exhibitions. Solo shows included Redfern Gallery from 1953, Hamet Gallery from 1970, Heal's Mansard Gallery, Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol and elsewhere in the provinces. Major exhibition held at RWA in 1988. Elected RA in 1992. HM The Queen, Chantrey Bequest for Tate Gallery and Contemporary Art Society hold examples of her work. |
