| Maurice Cockrill was born in Hartlepool, county Durham. In 1960 was accepted by Denbigh Technical College to study painting full time, attended University of Reading in 1963-4. Showed in one man shows in Liverpool, at the Bernard Jacobson Gallery. Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool held a retrospective exhibition of his work in 1995. |
